About the author

Dr. Markus Numberger, neurobiologist, has been working on the topics of "staying mentally fit" and Alzheimer's prevention for many years. He studied biology at the universities of Regensburg and Konstanz. He wrote his doctoral thesis in the field of molecular neurobiology of the brain at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, Heidelberg, in the department of the Nobel Prize winner in medicine, Prof. Dr. Bert Sakmann.
